Here is the Remnant 2 Annihilation boss guide which will help you take down the final boss in the game who is located in the Blackened Citadel biome on Root Earth and is a seriously tough fight, not necessarily due to its attacks, but the setting is mind jarring.
Location: Root Earth, Blackened Citadel.

Annihilation is the final boss in Remnant 2 and the fight itself is fought across 3 phases, with the 2nd being a very trippy experience that I won’t lie, gave me a headache.
The boss itself isn’t that bad of a fight, it hits hard and there’s a few one hit skills it utilises to send you back to the checkpoint but they’re simple to deal with in the first phase at least.
The Dragon, for the most part in the phase isn’t that hard to deal with, just avoid the slams, roll through the shockwaves and swipes and stay away from all of the energy beams which are proximity based, if you touch them they hurt you, stay away from them and they’re harmless.
There is, however, a nasty ability Annihilation has whereby it will summon a series of balls that are connected by an energy beam, you need to destroy these as a priority otherwise they will all come for you and regardless of how powerful you are you won’t survive a hit from all of them at once, fortunately they have low health so they’re easy to deal with as long as you’re quick.
Focus fire on the chest and head as best as you can but be ammo and relic efficient in the first phase as the second phase is where the real difficulty lies.
With the first phase defeated, Annihilation will rip its own head in half and reveal a humanoid figure who has the annoying ability to glitch you into a realm I can only describe as red which is a problem as everything is red, the floor, ceiling, walls and the attacks which can make them very difficult to avoid.
You will have to deal with lightning strikes, rectangular columns slamming into you, sword swipes that are hard to dodge and constantly changing environments as the corruption struggles to hold on to the remains of the World around you.
Now on occasion you will be glitched back to the main boss arena then in between both the “red realm” and the main boss arena which usually comes with a heavy attack that’s hard to dodge as there’s no tell where it’s coming from.
Focus in on the humanoid when you can and keep your health topped up above half as if you get caught in a combo if those red balls of death come for you, you will need all the health you can get in order to survive the onslaught.
Once you have managed to defeat the first and second phases you will then need to take a series of enemies for a couple of minutes whilst Clementine and the Keeper manage to download the corruption into their World segment this finishing the fight and completing the main campaign of Remnant 2.
