Remnant 2 Barghest The Vile Aberration Guide

Here is the Remnant 2 Barghest the Vile Aberration guide which will help you find and take down a beast who is, I’m assuming, sleeping in the sewers. I say I’m assuming as you can find Barghest in a random pile of bones that has several bulbous creatures stuck to the sides of.
Location: Losomn, Harvester’s Reach.
Rewards: Dria’s Anklet x1, Lithely Mutator x1, Scrap x250.
As you progress through Harvester’s Reach there will be several sections with corridors that lead you round to a back room of sorts. On occasion there will be a large pile of bones with several bulbous creatures both shock and the yellow ones that look like they’re absorbing energy from whatever is inside.
Kill all of the bulbous creatures attached to a pile where you will have a special beast jump out of them and attack you. Every so often and it is completely random as to the location given the procedurally generated nature of Remnant 2 the beast that jumps out will be Barghest the Vile.
Barghest is a much tougher, harder hitting version of the beasts you will have encountered throughout the Dran sections of Losomn who will also have 2 abilities below his name at the top of the screen which can either make the fight a lot more difficult or not really affect things at all.
If you have abilities like Displacer and Shocker then you’re in for a bad time of it where as Empathy and Vortex won’t really affect you that much and it’s luck of the draw as to what you get.
The Aberration will come at you with a series of slashes as well as a nasty triple that ends with a tail swipe that can remove chunks off your health bar if you get caught up so roll through the attacks then punish Barghest from behind.
When its health gets low it will run off through an open drain and heal up a bit if you weren’t quick enough to take it down. This doesn’t really affect things and it’s more of an annoyance than a detriment as are the bulbous creatures who will show up to aid Barghest.
Take the shock bulbous creatures down as best as you can as they can inflict heavy damage if you get mobbed then keep your fire focus on Barghest’s face until you bring the beast down.
