Remnant 2 Corrupted Ravager Boss Guide

Here is the Remnant 2 Corrupted Ravager boss guide which will help you access the Ravager’s Lair as well as go over the possible rewards you can earn depending on the choices you make in the boss arena.

Location: Yaesha, The Ravager’s Lair.
Rewards: Depends on your choices.

The Corrupted Ravager is the World Boss of Yaesha and is a tough fight depending on the choices you make. Before we go over the fight itself if there even is one, let’s actually figure out how to access the Ravager’s Lair.

You will need to go through Yaesha to the Water Harp which will be a cylindrical looking contraption next to a bridge with a section missing preventing you from cross to the lair itself. You will have to go through a given biome to be able to get around behind the locked doors where you will be able to use the stone contraption to activate the Water Harp as per the image here:

With the contraption activated, go down the ramps and open the door where you can then head to the Water Harp, lower all of the pegs on the 8 rows and 5 columns where you will then essentially have a blank canvas then raise the following pegs on the cylinder:

  • Row 1, raise peg 5.
  • Row 2, leave blank.
  • Row 3, raise peg 4.
  • Row 4, leave blank.
  • Row 5, raise peg 3.
  • Row 6, raise peg 4.
  • Row 7, raise peg 1.
  • Row 8, leave blank.

See the image below if you’re struggling:

You can pull the lever to your right after leaving the cylindrical contraption where a song will play raising the bridge section. If you have made a mistake, the cylinder will raise, play a few notes then go back down. You need a sustained piece of music to play before the bridge will raise.

With the bridge raised you can now enter the Ravager’s Lair ensuring you use the checkpoint before going through as this fight can be a challenge. Now I mentioned earlier you have a series of choices you can make when taking on the Corrupted Ravager.

  • If you are going after Only Human (Defeat a Boss in single player without taking any damage) then shoot the Doe which will satisfy the Ravager and you won’t need to fight the boss at all.
  • You can obtain the Red Doe Staff melee weapon by choosing to revive the Doe by going up to it and interacting with the fallen Beast which will prompt the Doe to smash one of its Antlers off in the Ravager’s chest which will then see you need to fight the Ravager.
  • Alternatively, you can go straight to an offensive strategy against the Corrupted Ravager then as long as you kill then Doe during the fight (if you Summon an assistant they will kill the Doe for you anyway as the game identifies the Doe as a threat until the fight is done) which will gift you the Ravager’s Maw once the fight is done allowing you to craft the Feral Judgement melee weapon with McCabe in Ward 13.
  • The last option will be to engage the Ravager without having a Summoner build and allowing the Ravager to eat the Doe when it’s done to around 50% health you will then, once the Ravager has been defeated, be gifted the Crimson Membrane allowing you to craft the Merciless long gun.

If you do decide to engage the Corrupted Ravager, you will be in for a tough time of things as this thing can be a challenge if you’re under prepared.

Attack wise it will claw you with combination attacks, do a nasty jumping attack with its hind legs, summon in those incredibly annoying rolling spiked boulder enemies which hurt you just by touching you, send a column shattering shockwave across the arena then turn itself in to a tornado spinning around so fast you could, if you don’t run and dodge fast enough be pulled in to the epicentre which will kill you straight away.

Aim your attacks high going for the red blisters all of the Ravager’s back aiming for the face at the same time as best as you can then ensure you are healing regularly to help deal with the heavy attacks and stand a better chance of surviving should you get caught in a combo.

Deal with the mobs as a priority as these boulders are he most annoying enemies in the game for me as they’re fast, hard to hit, gang up on you and inflict very heavy damage.

Keep a good eye on the Ravager at all times as much as possible as if it gets you from behind you’re not going to have a good time, keep healing and use fire as much as you can to increase your Damage output until the Beast has been felled once and for all.

Well, until your next re roll at least.

That’s the Remnant 2 Corrupted Ravager boss guide complete, I hope it helped you get in to the Ravager’s Lair then take down whichever Beast you favour least.
