Remnant 2 Losomn Aberrations

Here we will go over where to find and how to take down all of the Remnant 2 Losomn Aberrations which are essentially mini bosses with some being very well hidden, we’re here to help you find and take down every Aberration lurking in the realms of Losomn.

An Aberration will, for the most part, be in the same place in a given area, however, given Remnant 2’s procedural generation mechanic, you may not always find a given location in your particular run.

That’s where Adventure Mode comes in to play, when you beat a World boss for any of the 3 main World(s) in Remnant 2: Losomn, N’Erud and Yaesha, you can then access Adventure Mode allowing you to re roll as many times as you need to without affecting your campaign progress.

Usually, an Aberration will have special abilities attached to it which are detailed under the Aberrations health bar and depending on what the modifiers are for a given fight, they might not do a lot or they might exponentially increase the difficulty of an encounter with an Aberration.

In total, there are 5 Aberrations you can find throughout Losomn which are:

  1. Barghest the Vile.
  2. Firth: The Oathkeeper.
  3. Gorge.
  4. Ripsaw.
  5. The Executioner.

Barghest The Vile

Location: Losomn, Harvester’s Reach.
Rewards: Dria’s Anklet x1, Lithely Mutator x1, Scrap x250.

Search through the sewers until you find a pile of being bones with several bulbous creatures feeding on them, take out the creatures where Barghest should smash out of the bones and attack you.

Take him down before he runs off through a drain to heal or you risk making the fight a lot longer and harder than it needs to be.

Check out the Barghest the Vile Aberration guide for how to find and take down this resting beast who needs to be put to sleep permanently.

Firth: The Oathkeeper

Location: Losomn, Malefic Palace.
Rewards: Misfortune Mutator x1, Tome of Knowledge x1, Scrap x250..

Finding Firth: The Oathkeeper can be harder than taking it down as when in the Malefic Palace you will need to follow a specific card from start to finish and if you choose the incorrectly you might have to do a full World re roll before you can try again.

Check out the Firth The Oathkeeper Aberration guide for everything you need to find the correct doorway then take down this armoured, magic wielding, flying Fae Aberration.

Gorge

Location: Losomn, Butchers Quarter.
Rewards: Twisting Wounds Mutator, Scrap x250.

Gorge is a very well hidden Aberration in the Butchers Quarter biome. Go to the location in the video below then carefully drop down into the Sewers and pull the crank which is only there to let you back out.

Pulling the crank will cause Gorge to ambush you and it can be a tough fight given the restricted nature of the arena especially if you allow yourself to be cornered.

Check out the Gorge Aberration guide for where to find and how to take down this overgrown hairless Mutt.

Ripsaw

Location: Losomn, Morrow Parish.
Rewards: Striker Mutator x1, Corrupted Lumenite Crystal x5.

From the Morrow Parish starting point go through to the Asylum then out in to the courtyard once you have passed the cells and interact with the shed at the back of the area.

Ripsaw will need taking down in order for you to obtain the Third Floor Asylum Key from the shed he’s in allowing you to progress the story through to Nimue and the Nightweaver Hunting Grounds.

Check out the Ripsaw Aberration guide for everything you need to take down this saw wielding maniac.

The Executioner

Location: Losomn, Council Chamber.
Rewards: Steadfast Mutator x1, Scrap x250.

You will need to access a hidden section in the basement of the Council Chamber, wade through the water then take on the Executioner in a very small room thus increasing the difficulty a good amount.

Check out the, The Executioner Aberration guide for how to find and take down this hulking, axe wielding head remover.

That’s where you can find all of the Remnant 2 Losomn Aberrations, have you managed to take any of them down or did you already do them all and are here to see if there’s any left?
