Here is the Remnant 2 Root Nexus aberration guide which will help you find then take down the Root Nexus who is in the centre of the, The Withering Weald in Yaesha so re roll the world (you lose all your current progress) until you reach Yaesha then get ready for a nasty fight.
The Root Nexus doesn’t attack in anyway, however, it does summon hordes of enemies to help take you down and they are very good at it so ensure your gear is upgraded as much as you can and you have a full compliment of Dragon Heart before beginning the fight.
Location: Yaesha, The Withering Weald.
Rewards: Scrap x100, Blood Bond Trait (Summoner), Hallowed Egg Amulet (Underneath Blood Tree).
Head through to the central section of The Withering Weald in Yaesha then carefully work your way round to the checkpoint, if you get too close to the Root Nexus the fight will start and if you die you will be back at the start of the area so using this checkpoint is important to save a lot of time should you die.
There is a small square room opposite the checkpoint you can use as a kind of safe area with the only enemies who can get in behind you are the teleporting Rangers and there’s only 2 of them so get rid of them as soon as you can.
The majority of the enemies you’ll be facing are rolling spiked enemies who hurt you just by touch you and dodging them is difficult given their size so put them down as a priority.
The enemies come in waves during the fight, although it may not seem so at first so ignore the Root Nexus initially and take down the enemies instead, once you have cleared the first wave, focus fire on the glowing sections of the Root Nexus, if you aim at the roots themselves you won’t deal anywhere near as much damage.
Continue clearing the enemies taking care of the Brutes and the Rangers as a priority as they can easily kill you if you get overwhelmed then continue pumping away at the Root Nexus when the enemies are down until it is destroyed.
