Location: The Awakened King DLC, Glistering Cloister.
Rewards: Wretched Skull x1, Lumenite Crystal x3. Tome Of Knowledge x1, Scrap x500.
The Glistering Cloister is a randomly occurring biome in the, The Awakened King DLC and can be accessed from the second section of the Forlorn Coast (go through the first biome, take down a boss then hope you can find the Glistering Cloister).
Bruin is the boss of this biome and he is a tough fight as he comes at you with both hard hitting melee attacks as well as devastating ranged attacks with an entourage that can be an annoyance you can do without.
You will be up against a very tough boss here who is highly proficient with the dual spears so you need to watch out for slashes, thrusts, slams and shockwaves whilst also returning fire as best as you can.
Every so often, Bruin will jump up to the higher section at the edge of the area and rain knives down on you whilst you deal with the Fae with the knives being needing to be avoided as they can stagger you temporarily leaving you open to more punishment.
Bruin doesn’t have an overly complicated move set to deal with, however he has an incredibly large defence pool where even a maxed out level 5 Star Shot burst barely does any damage so whittle his health down with negative status effects to seriously increase the damage you can do.
As long as you can avoid his attacks and combos whilst also dealing sustained damage you will have Bruin down soon enough.
